On the road to Kozani, Greece 1973
Description: We are on the road to Kozani, seat of the municipality of Kozani and the capital of the Regional Unit of Kozani in Western Macedonia. The film opens with footage from the route. We see the landscape, the road with cars of that era which pass in front of the camera but also two parked, a Lancia Fulvia Coupe and a BMW 1600. A man and a woman enter the first, the car leaves and as it moves away, we see a flock of sheep with an older man approaching the camera. We are back to the route and we see shots from the mountain ranges of Vermi, Bourinos and Pieria as well as the place where the artificial Lake Polyphytos would soon be created. A road sign informs us that on the right side is Kastoria at 91 km and Florina at 81 km. The film closes with the filmmaker’s friends who stand on a hill and take pictures of the view of Kozani.
