I encountered Bonfire Lakes at Little Waves Festival in Genk in 2018 and have been waiting for further live shows since then. With the new album this is happening. I was at the try-out a couple weeks ago and now at the official record release concert. The music has the intimacy and spontaneity of a bonfire guitar session, and is rich in emotion and colour, supported by the band members' artistry. I love the old songs "Two Sisters" and "Ghosts" and from the new songs "Vacency" immediately caught me at the try-out, as well as the intimacy of the acoustic solo performance (without mic and amp) of "Song for Ma". So here I got three of them together in one piece, and the "Two Sisters" in a separate video.
