Ballater & District Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major James Cooper, playing "Scotland the Brave" as they led the start of the 2024 Ballater Little Masons parade. Starting by Old Royal Bridge over the River Dee, the parade marched through the town with the band then playing Flett from Flotta and Wings. Organised by Ballater Charitable Chields, this local tradition dates back to 1844, where locals provided funds for a children’s Christmas Parade and party. Local children have now marched the streets of Ballater every year for a hundred and eighty years. #ballater #ballaterpipeband #scotlandthebrave #littlemasons #marchingband
