It is also known as Golla Konda Fort. It is figured at 11 kilometers far from Hyderabad City. Golconda Fort was a capital of Golconda Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and it is a ruined fort of southern india. Later The Nawab Capital has moved to Charminar. At that time of 16th Century, Golconda was the capital city of Qutb Sultan's Kingdom. And the Interesting thing is that, Kohinoor Diamond ,Hope Diamond and other diamonds were located once in this Fort. Golconda fort has very beautiful architecture and it is one of the famous historical places of India. It derives lot of visitors from different regions of the whole world. Tourists are love to visit this Fort. After Charminar, Golconda Fort is the 2nd best famous place in Hyderabad.
