At 90 years old, Carlos Malcolm is still creating music. He is one of Jamaica's only living music legends left. Carlos was one of the founding fathers of Ska. He didn't invent Ska, but he was the only one to create sheet music for his musical works.His orchestra "Carlos Malcolm and his Afro Jamaican Rhythms" was the premier Ska Orchestra in Jamaica In the 1960's.With more than a 100 song catalog, we would like to get back in the studio and re introduce Carlos Malcolm's music with the world, with the assistance of "Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra" directed by Eitan Avineri. Carlos Malcolm has contributed so much to the development of urbanized Jamaican music, and has been so underappriciated. Join us on our Indegogo campaign in efforts to share the music of Carlos Malcolm with the world, and give Carlos his well deserved recognition.
