More than 1,000 Iranian Americans and policy experts will convene near Capitol Hill on Saturday November 15 to promote a democratic Iran and hear from people inside Iran seeking regime change. They will also discuss the correct policy on Iran. •⁠ ⁠What: Free Iran Convention 2025 Blueprint for a Free and Just Future •⁠ ⁠When: Saturday, November 15, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM •⁠ ⁠Where: Washington, D.C. •⁠ ⁠Who: Over 1,000 Iranian Americans human rights and political activists, scholars, and distinguished U.S. and international dignitaries •⁠ ⁠Featuring: Former prisoners of conscience, families of executed protesters, and activists inside Iran speaking remotely offering firsthand insight into the growing resistance movement. ————— Speakers will discuss the roadmap for ending dictatorship in Iran and transitioning to a representative government founded on free elections, gender equality, the separation of religion and state, freedom of religion and expression, nonproliferation, and regional peace. The event is timely following the September snapback of sanctions against Iran, additional American sanctions, record-high executions in Iran, and New York street protests by the thousands of Iranian Americans last month during the United Nations General Assembly. Several panels of Iranian scholars and youth will also discuss the need for change, unique role of women, and viable alternative with the capability and intent for ending the theocracy as well as future challenges, and blueprint to deal with them.
