Angled and Straight Overdenture Lab Technique using the Blue Sky Bio Implant System

This video shows how to perform an Angled and Straight Overdenture Lab technique using the blue sky bio implant system. Connect the Thumb Nob to the Screw Driver and remove the healing abutments. Insert the abutment into the implant. Tighten the abutment first with finger pressure then insert the driver into the wrench and torque to 30 Newton Centimeters. Remove the healing abutment on the angled implant. Orient the multi-unit abutment so that the top platform comes into parallel with the other implants and then torque to 30 Newton Centimeters. Use the hex driver to place the male Overdenture component onto the top of the multi -unit abutment and torque it to 15 Newton Centimeters. Snap impression transfers onto the straight and angled abutments. Load impression tray with impression material and place onto the lower arch. Remove impression from mouth and place analogs onto the impression transfers. Pour stone into the impression tray to build the stone model. Remove the stone model. The analogs will be visible. Use an insertion tool to place the black processing insert into the metal housing. Place the housings with the black inserts onto the analogs. Process the denture with housings on the model. Remove the denture from the mouth and trim any excess resin around the housing and ridge areas, then polish the denture. Use the insertion tool to remove the processing inserts and replace with the appropriate retentive inserts. Place denture into mouth and verify proper retention.
