NOTE: All archive footage is being presented as un-edited, raw footage. These were taken with digital still cameras, without vibration reduction... and as a result, some may experience headaches. This DOES NOT reflect our current quality, and this is why we have no other use for "archive" footage. -- Déjà Vu was the infamous prototype Giant Inverted Boomerang from Vekoma, one of the first four manufactured, that stood in County Fair. Initially scheduled to open in early 2001 (alongside Vertical Velocity), it remained closed until October of that year, and rarely operated the following season. There are claims that its poor-reliability resulted in false-advertising lawsuits, and Vekoma's banishment from Six Flags parks... which contributed to the manufacturer's bankruptcy (it has since recovered). By 2005-2007, its operations had significantly improved. However, this was still unsatisfactory, and during the 2007-2008 offseason it was quietly dismantled. Presently it operates at Silverwood Theme Park as "Aftershock", and its site is now occupied by "Buccaneer Battle". Interestingly, since its move to Idaho, its reliability has tremendously-improved thanks to a new operating program in the ride's computer.
