Ratchaburi, Ratchaburi is a province in western central Thailand, about 80 kilometers west of Bangkok. It's bordered by the Tanintharyi Region of Myanmar to the west. Is often ignored as a tourist destination by many. There are two hotels within walking distance of the train station and taxi service is available. If you are interested in exploring the real Thailand away from the girly bars, massage shops, over priced food, tacky souvenir shops, and hordes of obnoxious foreigners this is a great city and province to explore.
