SOUNDBITE: (French) Hussein Anoun al-Saadi, former hostage "It's very difficult the situation in Iraq right now. It's as usual: there's no security we aren't safe, so it's full of dangers in Iraq right now, so I don't advise journalists to go to Iraq." 13. Wide shot of podium STORYLINE An Iraqi interpreter freed after being held hostage with French reporter Florence Aubenas arrived in France on Thursday, saying he feared for his safety at home. Hussein Hanoun al-Saadi, 44, arrived at Orly airport outside Paris accompanied by his wife and son, the youngest of his four children. Al-Saadi thanked the French for lobbying for his release and said he would stay in France a while and think about his future. "It's very difficult the situation in Iraq right now. It's as usual: there's no security we aren't safe, so it's full of dangers in Iraq right now, so I don't advise journalists to go to Iraq," he said. He hopes to keep a low profile during the visit, according to officials at Liberation newspaper. Aubenas, a veteran reporter for Liberation, and al-Saadi were released over the weekend after being held hostage in a dark cellar in the Iraqi capital Baghdad for 157 days. After the ordeal, the former Iraqi fighter pilot who learned French and how to fly Mirage jets in France in the 1980s, said he would no longer work as a guide for journalists in Iraq.
