Flintlock Extension is an advanced ski trail located at Gunstock Mountain Resort. The trail runs from the summit of the Tiger chairlift down to the base area. The run begins to the skier's left of the top of the chairlift, staying left at an intersection before turning right off of the traverse. Flintlock Extension is a narrow and winding trail that features a pair of steep drops before flattening out and gently returning to the base area. Gunstock Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Gilford, New Hampshire. The resort is located in Belknap County in the Lakes Region of Central New Hampshire and is about a 15-minute drive east of Laconia, a 45-minute drive northeast of Concord, a 1-hour drive northeast of Manchester, and a 2-hour drive north of Boston, Massachusetts. The resort is known for its variety of intermediate terrain, its breathtaking views of nearby Lake Winnipesaukee, and its extensive night-skiing operation. In addition to alpine skiing, the resort offers many other activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and a mountain coaster. The resort is owned by the local Belknap County government and is not a member of any major multi-mountain season pass.
