Fairs are usually between January and March Each affiliated fair can send a predetermined number of entrants to ISEF To Enter a Fair, you need to perform a RESEARCH PROJECT You must complete this checklist prior to entering: https://member.societyforscience.org/... Included in this checklist is a RESEARCH PLAN (BEFORE you begin research) which includes: Your rationale for doing the study Research question, hypothesis or engineering goal Procedures Risk and Safety Data Analysis Bibliography Your research plan must be APPROVED before you start your research: https://member.societyforscience.org/... After experimentation, submit an ABSTRACT summarizing your work (250-word maximum) A project data book and research paper are not required by ISEF but strongly recommended for judging purposes.
