The Arapeen OHV Trail system is located in south central Utah on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Over 350 miles of ATV and 4X4 routes are included in the system. The backbone of the system is the scenic South Skyline Drive which is a rugged 4X4 experience for most of its 58-mile length from Utah Highway 31 on the north to the Fish Lake National Forest boundary on the south Join me as I explore Arapeen ATV trail #35. Part of the Arapeen ATV trail system, trail #35 is a wide trail with no width restrictions. Starting near the top of Mayfield Canyon, the trail winds across to Sterling Canyon and down Sterling Canyon. The trail runs through aspen, pines, and meadows filled with wildflowers in spring. It passes Six-mile ponds, A great place to stop for lunch and fish for Rainbow trout. The trail ends above Palisade State Park, but the road continues to the small town of Sterling.
