Peaceful protests have been attacked by police, national guard, the news media politicians and hate groups. The police are a disaster and do not protect people. They do not allow our constitutional rights to protest. They do not want accountability. I saw no police protecting people from this vicious attack, later this same evening they brutalized the crowd with tanks, chemical weapons rubber bullets, batons. They inflict incredible pain and punishment to clear the streets. Cops are arguing angrily on TV about their rights. They should not be fighting for murder and racism or war and brutality. Who do they serve. We need more nurses and teachers and real help for our communities. Defund the police. Look at their bloated budgets. Systemic racism & brutality.
