Today I will be replacing the shifter on my FIAT 500 Abarth as it very worn out. The process is pretty simple, all you have to do is take the top cap off, remove the bolt that holds the shift knob to the shifter rod and forcefully remove the shifter. Reinstalling is just as easy, but can take a few minutes if the shifter refuses to get back on the gear shift boot.
