Testing the new R1 at Homestead-Miami Speedway

Went down to Florida to test out the new bike. We were down there for 4 days but only had one day to test as I was booked for 3 days to do private coaching. Got a good start to the day, but the bike felt really different and took me a little while to adapt to the feel of the new suspension and brakes. Decided not to make any changes to the geometry, springs, or even clickers to any of the suspension as I was struggling with my eyes being a bit slow from riding an MT10 all weekend. Took a while to make the set up work for me but got more and more comfortable with it every time I went out on it. Last session was the best session as there was minimal traffic and was able to get some relatively good laps going. Got to ride a little with Vito, Posse, Mike, and James. Ended the day matching my previous best which I'll take as a win as I know that with a little more seat time the bike will feel like it's mine again. The new suspension feels great, hopefully I can get another day or two to test to really start pushing a little harder.
