I have also recently added a video on our side tent for the trailer as well. Why a teardrop over an RV or Travel Trailer? 1) Teardrops are very light and easily towed behind a 4 or 6 cylinder car. This is way more economical than a large travel trailer or drive a Class C or Class A motorhome. 2) Camping locations. RVs are almost always stuck in flat, barren spots in campsites. Teardrops are usually get access to the much more scenic tent sites. 3) Off site storage. Teardrops fit inside your garage with ease. RV often require off site storage that can get VERY expensive. 4) I'm there to camp and enjoy the outdoors, not sit inside an RV all day and watch TV or play cards. 5) Mobility. If you are in a class a/c motorhome and need to run into town for something, you have to unhook everything and drive into town or tow yet another vehicle for your local errands. 6) Cost. Teardrops are significantly cheaper to buy than big Class C or Class A motorhomes. 7) Resale value. Teardrops tend to hold their resale value much better than a travel trailer or class a/c motorhome.
