Palm Springs Photoshoot - Part 2

This is the part 2 of a photoshoot I did in Palm Springs. Part 1 is titled "The Process of Planning a Fashion Shoot". I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Greta Haroldson for this shoot that was shot at The Muse Hotel in Palm Springs.   / gretaharoldson   I pulled some beautiful clothes at Maison Privee in Los Angeles: Adiba, Charles & Ron, Karolina's Kingdom Spain, Jonak, OTT, Willa Phoenix, XIVI. I was also able to find a couple more pieces at Nordstrom, Zara as well as my own closet. This is my way of shooting and I am happy to share the behind the scenes of the entire shoot as well as the final images with camera settings. I hope this video is helpful, and you get to learn a thing or 2. As you can see in the video, I have a very relaxed approach (and yes, that also means I am very warm and bubbly and talk a lot!!). I work with Natural Light and arrive with a camera and a few lenses. No major set ups or big crew. I have worked hard over the years to learn to do all I need done to capture my style of images myself, "just in case". It is great having a team on set, of course, and I value each one of them and what they do very much. But, being able to handle all aspects of my set is important to me! The goal is to book big brands with big budgets, but knowing well that I can make a smaller brand with smaller budget just as happy! Yet again... A little note on being on-camera. I hate it! So incredibly much! It's really hard for me to remember to pause my train of thought while I'm in the middle of shooting to explain what it is that I am doing. But I promise that I am trying to get better! So I'd love to hear from you on what you'd like to see more in these videos so that I can work on better content for you. It was awesome to have my sister with me again doing the behind the scenes videos for this episode as well. I hope that she and I can continue to work together on these in the future, because I love how well we work together! She flew in for a few days and I had her come along.
