Metro & Vline trains at Sunbury - Melbourne Transport

In this video we see some trains at Sunbury station, one of the newest stations to be added to the metropolitain rail network and the terminus of the Sunbury line. We see some Comeng and Vlocity trains at the station and a three car Siemens on a driver training run (or maybe a joyride). As part of the $270 million Sunbury electrification project, the Sydenham line was extended from it's previous terminus at Watergardens to Sunbury, 15km north. The project saw the the upgrade of Diggers Rest and Sunbury stations to accomodate electric trains which commenced on the 18th November 2012 with the new timetable.
