Caste discrimination in IIT Madras: Former professor writes to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

The news coming in is from IIT Madras, former IIT professor Vipin Veetil writes an open letter to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan seeking his intervention in the caste discrimination issue raised by him in the institute. This is not the first time IIT Madras is in the news controversy due to caste discrimination. In July 2021, professor Vipin Veetil was seen resigning from his post alleging caste discrimination in the institute, and then he was even seen going to National Commission for SCs and STs and now he has a written an open letter to the Union Minister seeking his intervention in this case.
