Dr. Christopher Watkin, author of "Biblical Critical Theory: How the Bible’s Unfolding Story Makes Sense of Modern Life and Culture, presents a lecture on the intersection of AI and a biblical vision of creaturely dignity, work, and hope. Christopher Watkin is Associate Professor of French Studies at Monash University in Melbourne. His research explores modern and contemporary European thought, especially where philosophy, theology, and cultural critique intersect. He is the author of numerous works, including "Difficult Atheism," "French Philosophy Today," and the multi-award-winning "Biblical Critical Theory"—named Christianity Today’s 2024 Book of the Year.
