Bundesliga Debut 🇩🇪🔥 Quick rundown of how a match day works: You face 3 different clubs, and against each club you play: • 2 Open games • 2 Mixed games • 1 Women’s game All matches are best of 3 to 15 (which is also learnt about on the day) 😅 Match 1 – Stuttgart Played Open 2 with Jere (a local Heidelberg contender) vs national team and pro player @jacopodudine 🇮🇹 + the talented @simonstolz18 🇩🇪 We won 2–1, which ended up being the decisive win for Heidelberg to take the match 3–2 🙌 Match 2 – Mannheim Played Mixed 2 with @thesi.vw vs the pro duo of @cafeconcocooo 🇦🇹 + @paulwinkler3000 🇩🇪 We played super clean and won 2–0! Then @roundnet_jules and I played Paul 🇩🇪 & @oussama_roundnet 🇫🇷 in Open 1 and took it 2–1 — Heidelberg wins the day 4–1 🔥 Match 3 – Frankfurt Only played Open this time: Jules & I vs current European champions and the lovely pair of @nem_christianiharder_roundnet Won 2–1 in some intense and exciting games! Frankfurt took the overall match 3–2. 🎥 Full highlights are now on YT: @scottbeeks_roundnet Personal thoughts: A lot of work still to be done this off-season, but nice to feel the progress paying off! Oussama’s power definitely motivates me to work more on my power this off season. Very happy to play with @roundnet_jules again for only the second time — our first time being our 2nd place finish at ETS Bucharest earlier this year ⚡️ This will probably be my only Bundesliga appearance this season… and I loved every second.
