BMW E36 Judd V8 ex-Georg Plasa driven FAST! 560hp, 895kg Hillclimb Monster Pure Sound!

This was the most unexpected and possibly my favorite car I saw during the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This is the famous and victorious monster built and driven by hillclimb-hero Georg Plasa, who unfortunately passed away in a tragic accident while driving his second creature, a BMW 1-Series "134", at an Italian hillclimb race in 2011. This E36 started his life and hillclimb history as a BMW 320i which Georg perfected and modified over many years, applying the use of F1-derived technology and encouraging others European hillclimb teams to do the same. It's powered by a Judd KV 675 3.4-litre V8 engine, able to produce around 560hp at 10,200 rpm, and which was developed to be featured in Formula 3000 and Le Mans prototypes. Thanks to the use of lightweight components the car only weighs 895 kg. Even the aero package was developed and studied in a wind tunnel making the E36 Judd a proper monster. After his death, the E36 has been the object of interest of many teams but KW Suspensions' founder, Klaus Wohlfarth, a good friend of Georg, acquired it from the family, in order to preserve it has better as possible. Many years later Georg's family, friends and team members decided to make a complete restoration of the E36, trying to keep as original as possible, aiming to get it race ready and run it at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
