How I started my own animated series

This video was supposed to be made a year ago, but here we are. I wanted to make a retrospective about working on "Ashes | Episode 0", the first episode of my original animated series. Sorry for the click-baity title and whatnot I just spent a good bit of time on this video so I wanted to at least try to get some eyes on it. From navigating school deadlines to finding my own animation workflow, it’s been quite the journey. In this video, I try to cover everything—from the pre-production phase (storyboarding) to using Toon Boom Harmony and FireAlpaca for character animation, creating 3D backgrounds in Blender, getting help from friends, and tying it all together in post-production. You’ll also hear about my experience showcasing my work, which felt like a major milestone on my path as a creator. I also talk about how school structure and deadlines kept me motivated, and how finding the right workflow is key in any animated short film project. And if any friends are reading this—thank you.
