I usually write a short novel in the description section here for videos I post. But I truly believe that the cigars in this video need no introduction. Just look at it and see for yourself. That beautiful footband and all. This Ano del Cerdo cigar is very special. It is very special. Did that sound like something President Donald Trump would say? At least I didn't say "it's YUGE!" There are other Year of The Pig cigars out there. Other cigar manufacturers also release Chinese Zodiac Calendar tributes. Davidoff has a very nice, red box of cigars. And the cigar is just amazing. Probably one of the best too. Now that I think of it, the Davidoff Year of The Pig is also a very special cigar. Very special. It's super rare and limited and it tastes, smells, smokes, and looks fantastic. However, a Cuban Cohiba Year of The Pig, that may be more interesting. Probably because we don't get them in the good ol' USA. So the rarity might be part of the appeal. Getting this box is far from simple in the states. Aside from the difficulty of locating, there's the fun task of liquidating your 401K to pay for this thing. The fact that it's so rare may contribute to its demand. And its demand may give counterfeiters more reason to make nice fake copies for us. Beware, counterfeiters are getting smarter and better. They started printing very real looking authenticity bar codes and they started putting real authenticity code numbers. So when you go to Habanos.com to check if the cigars you just bought are real, the website does in fact tell you it's a real Habanos cigar. But it's really screwed up because counterfeiters just stole the authenticity numbers off a different box and slapped it on this box. Like I said, counterfeiters are getting smarter and better. And they pretty much figured out how to fool us. The only real way to avoid fakes is to buy from La Casa del Habano stores. That's the only way. If your friend is traveling and wants to bring you back some Cuban cigars, tell them that they should/can only buy cigars at LCDH locations and nowhere else. Tell them not to waste their time and money if they're not going to an LCDH store. I hope you enjoy this video. I really need to know what you're thinking.
