Date: 2/1/22 Location: Tower Rd, Schaumburg, Illinois Temp: 15°F Signal: 1 minute alert Units Heard: P-50 (main unit) - 750 feet T-128 - 1.5 miles T-128 - 1.7 miles T-128 - 2.4 miles T-128 - 2.4 miles UPDATE: As of March 2024, this siren has been replaced by a T-135 AC/DC. This siren then went on to commit suicide in front of about 400 people at SirenCon 2024. Went to the P-50 in Schaumburg with Chris, Mitchell, Holly, and Dominic on the first Tuesday of February, as the rest of their system was recently replaced and this is rumored to follow soon. It was pretty loud, and the air whooshing sound when it's facing away was really cool. This is also the first P-50 I have heard outside the state of Wisconsin. Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
