Vocal Coach Reacts - Axis Of Awesome - 4 Chord Song - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy Today we’re going to look at a video of a performance I’ve referenced multiple times in the past, that demonstrates how different variations of the same 4 chords are the basis for many of the songs we know and love. The song comes from a musical comedy act called Axis of Awesome which was an Australian trio that performed from 2006 to 2018 making parodies off of well known songs. This particular song was their best known work and it was called “Four Chords” and it's a medley of 36 popular songs that all used the same 4 chord progression. As I react to performance, I’ll break down the progressions and we’ll go over them on my guitar. I’ll also share with you all some other variations that you can create.
