Enfortumab vedotin for the treatment of advanced urothelial cancer

Enrique Grande, MD, PhD, MD Anderson Cancer Centre Madrid, Madrid, Spain, provides the latest updates on enfortumab vedotin, a Nectin-4-binding antibody treatment for advanced bladder cancer. In line with the EV-301 trial (NCT03474107), testing enfortumab vedotin against chemotherapy, every single subgroup analysis has returned an advantageous result for patients. All patients consequently benefitted from enfortumab vedotin, regardless of PD-L1 status, cisplatin eligibility or geography. Whilst this is a hugely positive result, Dr Grande also discusses why this may make it difficult to assess which patients could benefit from this treatment specifically.
