Glymur Waterfall hike is one of the top hikes in West Iceland. Glymur Waterfall is about an hour's drive from Reykjavik. Glymur Waterfall is the second-highest waterfall in Iceland. The hike to reach the viewing platform takes about an hour and a half and it requires a riverbank crossing. When you reach the viewing platform, you have the option to continue the hike to reach all the way up to the waterfall and which takes an additional hour or so. The parking is free.
