Can I Get a Witness? Leading as We, Not Me Dr. Chenelle S. Boatswain is an educator, master facilitator, and leadership development scholar dedicated to supporting the sustaining success of Black women leaders. She is the founder of CSB Consulting Services, where she partners with academic institutions to advance institutional transformation and disrupt isolation, burnout, and attrition among women of color in leadership. Her signature program, The Thriving Together Network, convenes high-performing leaders in culturally affirming, protective professional communities that center collective care as a pathway to balancing wellness with ambition. This talk names a taken-for-granted leadership reality: Black women are expected to lead valiantly while enduring overexposure, undervaluation, and chronic lack of support.
