The programme reports on a visit to the shop of a musical instrument maker, reconstructed at the Kirkstall Abbey Museum, from Home This Afternoon, 24 August 1964. The recording was made in the Mark Dearlove violin maker’s shop display at Abbey House Museum in Leeds and is an interview by Dick Gregson with the museum director Cyril Maynard Mitchell, and a descendent of the Dearlove family, Jack Dearlove.
