In this latest episode of Soundtracking Extra we talk to writer/director Craig Roberts about his latest film, the extraordinary Eternal Beauty. Starring Sally Hawkins, it's a beautiful, funny, emotional look at the life of Jane, who lives with Mental Health issues. It's a very personal story to Craig as it's based on his real life experiences with his own aunt. Eternal Beauty is out in cinemas now and you really should go and see it. One of the films of the year for me. Then my old mate, Cat Deeley has released her first book, The Joy in You, a beautiful book for children. SO weird to interview your mate but lovely to talk books, life, Jaws Soundtrack, playing the Clarinet and navigating being a working mum. Then Ewan McGregor is back on our TV with Long Way Up, the latest adventure with his friend Charlie Boorman. Available on Apple TV, the pair attempt to travel from South America upto LA on Electric bikes, as much drama and hilarity ensues! In this part of our chat we touch on music and how it's penetrated his career both on and off screen. He also reveals how he nearly pulled out of Little Voice after Harvey Weinstein suggested Jane Horrocks not be the lead.
