Today I want to pray with you about serving with love and joy, because serving is not just an outward action, but a deep expression of what lives in the heart. Many times, the world presents serving as a burden, an obligation, or something that diminishes the one who does it. But in God’s Kingdom, serving is a path of growth, an expression of spiritual maturity, and a response to the love that first reached us. When the heart understands this, serving stops feeling like effort and becomes a source of joy. There are moments when routine wears us down, demands pile up, and the desire to do something for others seems to fade. On those days, the heart can close off, and joy can get lost in the middle of responsibilities. But the Lord always calls us back to what truly matters, reminding us that serving with love does not come from human strength, but from the grace working within us. When the heart aligns with God’s purpose, even the simplest actions carry eternal meaning.
