This Budget has given some very important changes, for instance now only three-year-old cases are allowed to be reopened whereas earlier the limit was 6 years, this change is really relevant for the tax fair. Another major change in the budget is the Dispute resolution committee. The smaller taxpayers too can now access the committee and get their issues resolved. The Government is also to set up a national income appellate tribunal centre.
