East Coast Diesel Nationals (Greg A's 05 Cummins is a BEAST) Made it down to the East Coast Diesel Nationals show at Numidia dragway this weekend as promised. Unfortunately the event ended up getting rained out and the weather did not cooperate for us all. I still tried to make the most of what little time I had at the show and record some of the trucks that I saw there before the rain got worse. Greg Alberalla's 05 Cummins is a BEAST of a street truck. That 3rd gen common rail Cummins laid down some serious times/speeds on the drag strip. It makes my 2nd gen 24 valve Cummins seem like a power wheels truck for a toddler. It is amazing that a quad cab common rail Cummins truck that weighs almost 8000 lbs. can run a 1/4 mile time that quickly. 10 second passes at 130 mph is faster than a lot of cars/trucks with full drag set ups and we're talking about a street truck here. I can only imagine what Greg A's drag truck build will lay down for times when he get's that truck finished up if the 05 is running the 1/4 mile this quick and still has room for adjustment to become quicker. The Cummins drag truck is going to be something fierce. I hope you guys enjoyed what content I was able to get with the weather down at the show.
