Jesus Ate With Sinners — Would You?

In this episode of Simple Gospel Sunday, continuing our series “Be Imitators of God,” we explore what it truly means to imitate Christ in our associations. Jesus did not isolate Himself within comfortable circles. He ate with tax collectors, spoke with outcasts, and showed love to those society rejected. He did not condone sin — but He drew near with grace. Romans 12:15–16 calls us to rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn, and live in harmony with one another — not thinking too highly of ourselves, but associating with people of low position. The gospel reminds us that we were saved by grace. If grace reached us, it must also flow through us. To imitate Christ is to love beyond class, beyond status, beyond what we may term as sin.
