LOS ANGELES - On a Monday afternoon, while driving east on Vernon Avenue in South Los Angeles, the LAPD decided to pull over Alex Alonso who was driving a burgundy Cadillac Escalade with 23 inch custom wheels. The LAPD officer Philip Z. Mendoza (Email: [email protected]) accused Alex Alonso of driving 44 mph down Vernon Avenue where the speed limit is 30 mph, decided to handcuff him for "officer safety" and held him up for almost 20 minutes. He also alleged that his car matched a description of some call.
