Elektron Digitakt Creations 8 | [Electronic/Sampling/Nostalgia]] For this video, I'm taking a nostalgia induced trip through the world of late 80s early 90s television commercials that came before me but are strangely familiar. What are these adverts selling? Who knows, but they are strangely comforting at the same time. I wanted the overall feel to sound like a radio show mix - I even made a few cheesy bumps between some of the songs to keep with the vibe. Manipulated samples are taken from various clips of tv and media from around the time. Also experimented with single cycle loops as well as an equal mix of a few of my samples I've created over time with hardware and some basic sample packs from Elektron and elsewhere. I particularly enjoyed making the Crystl Pepsi Suite track as it slowly becomes a hypnotic loop of bliss. Output was recorded into a BR-900 Digital recorder that I just can't quit. It dirties up the sound just right for my ears.
