From his countless past experiences, Mat Lehmann concentrates all his musical passion into a limitless project, where technique, melody and experimentation are all focused in a single point, musicality. Mat Lehmann started his music career at the age of 11, playing the contrabass in various Italian Classical music Orchestras, but at the same time he raised a deep passion for Heavy Metal music, which it will push the Italian musician to militate in many local bands as a bass player, vocalist and guitar player. In 2004 Mat founded his first Metal project called NEURASTHENIA, with the Italian guitar player Neil Grotti. With NEURASTHENIA band, Mat and his colleague reached many great successes, national and international. Two demo album and three studio album as a bass player and producer, many Official video and playing and supporting bands such: ANTHRAX, EXODUS, DESTRUCTION, DEICIDE, AMON AMARTH, BEHEMOTH, STRATOVARIUS, MUNICIPAL WASTE, OBITUARY, FORBIDDEN, BELPHEGOR, NECRODEATH, MAYHEM and sharing European Tour with: FLOTSAM & JETSAM, EXCITER, BONDED BY BLOOD, FUELED BY FIRE and HATESPHERE. From 2011, NEURASTHENIA and Mat started to growing new fans also in Russia with three Headlining Tours and one album released by the Russian Metal label FONO ltd records. NEURASTHENIA band are the column of the Italian Thrash Metal scene, and this band helped Mat Lehmann to be well known as one of the best Italian Bass player and session musician,with his Fratless bass. In 2012, BLAZE BAYLEY (Ex-IRON MAIDEN singer) decided to recruit Lehmann as a bass player and studio engineer for his new record "The King of Metal" and "The King of Metal World Tour". Lehmann was involved for more than six months, and during this period Mat has also prepared new songs for the upcoming new Blaze Bayley's album. As soon as the Tour was over, Mat closed the door of his own studio, trying to test his musical and vocal talent. But without realizing that he was building his first pillar, that in only four months took the name of LEHMANN project and the debut album "Lehmanized". In November 2014 LEHMANN's embark on the "Uniformity" Tour together with Swedish Metal Legends DARK TRANQUILLITY. In the early 2015 Claudio Tirincanti (ex-Blaze Bayley, ex-Tim Ripper Owens) is the new Drummer and Raffaele Guarino (ex-Hideweaver) is the new Bass player.
