Hotel Architect is a wonderfully charming game about designing a hotel, or indeed many hotels, which as well as building and hiring staff and all that kind of stuff, also means... DECOR! And on that front Hotel Architect does not disappoint. There are so many different decoration options it is truly wonderful. Many different types of flooring, loads of wallpaper choices, different colours of items like beds and chairs, lots of decorative items such as paintings and statues, and of course... plants! In this demo version of the game we set up in Sweden and with the help of Anna we get things up and running. Our hotel initially has only three bedrooms so we add some more and then we get round to hiring the staff, all of whom have spectacularly glorious names. After creating some amazing bedrooms (with en-suite bathrooms) we build upward and add a gym to give our sportier clientele something to do! Also we select the menu for our restaurant, we can trigger special events and we have to deal with hotel critics. All in all it's a wonderful hotel tycoon game and we'll definitely be back for more!
