See • Improvements: BC Parkway along Stewar... for a comparison. Up until Quayside Dr, it's all a MUP, completely separated from cars. The wooden boardwalk in the middle of the Quayside Dr section is extremely bumpy/uncomfortable in places, and also often very crowded. You can bypass this by just staying on the road (Quayside Dr). Soon, the boardwalk will continue at 14:00, with a MUP going around the building and crossing the tracks - you can see parts of it already built/painted. It was meant to open in 2024 according to some old news articles. The Pattullo bridge is quite terrible, but is being replaced and the new bridge will have a much better cycling path. Continue southeast on BC Parkway over the Pattullo Bridge - though during filming there's a bit of an unclear detour, and the replacement bridge is going to be ready within a few years.
