In this video we show our recent work to make sure we have the water we need to sustain us and our plants. We cover the game watering hole, rainwater harvesting, water storage tank increase, and trees we have planted over the last year or two. We are Hein and Mienette, building a homestead and a life in the semi-desert Klein Karoo in South Africa. We are doing all the work, building our tiny house and all the infrastructure, ourselves, without help, and mostly with only hand tools (no heavy equipment).
