Hi all. On June 12th 2018, the first direct flights between Scotland and China started. The flight operates 4 times a week. Tuesdays and Saturdays the flight’s routing is Beijing-Edinburgh-Dublin-Beijing, whilst on Thursdays and Sundays it operates in the opposite direction. The flight is operated by an A330-300, but it will be switching to a mix of Boeing 787-8s & 9s from the 1st July, until the end of the summer season, where it will revert back to an A330. The flight between Dublin and Edinburgh is in fact bookable, prices range between £50-80 one way. I’m actually flying on this flight tomorrow (19th June), so keep an eye for that TripReport in the coming month. I decided to pop across to Edinburgh for a few hours, to catch it on the 17th June. Interestingly this is in fact their old livery, which isn’t very common these days. I hope you all enjoy.
