Julia Jones (21, United States) Felix Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64 16 - Hyun Jae Lim (28, South Korea) Jean Sibelius: Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47 The Winners of the 2026 Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition will be announced after the judges’ deliberation. The 2026 Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition (EOIVC)—a flagship program of the Elevar Foundation—marks its fourth since its inaugural Competition in 2017. In collaboration with the Lynn University Conservatory of Music, the competition takes place in three rounds from January 8-18, 2026 on Lynn’s campus in Boca Raton, FL. Prizes offered for the 2026 EOIVC total to more than $175,000. The First Prize winner will receive a $30,000 cash prize provided by the David and Amy Fulton Foundation, a new violin made by Phillip Injeian, a gold-mounted bow by Vladimir Radosavljevic, an Alexander Plus Carbon Violin Case provided by Bogaro & Clemente, and recital opportunities in New York sponsored by Tarisio Fine Instruments and Bows, in Boston provided by Carriage House Violins, and in Cremona, Italy sponsored by Amorim Fine Violins, as well as more than 30 national and international engagements with orchestras, festivals, and concert series over the next three years. The Second Prize winner will receive a $15,000 cash prize provided by Tarisio Fine Instruments and Bows as well as a silver-mounted bow by Vladimir Radosavljevic. The Third Prize winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize provided by Mesirow Wealth Management and the 4th Prize winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize provided by Kenneth Warren & Son, Ltd. All four 2026 EOIVC Finalists will receive: A NuBow provided by Rodney Mohr, a copy of The Fulton Collection: A Guided Tour by David Fulton, and a copy of The Essential Guide to Bows of the Violin Family by Gabriel Schaff.
