From bottle-feeding baby goats and calves to duck feeding, tractor rides, and indoor play areas, there’s still plenty to enjoy. We also take a look inside the Haunted Barn, a lighthearted spooky walkthrough experience aimed at younger children. Longdown Activity Farm has been welcoming families since 1984 and is built on the original Longdown Dairy Farm, which had operated in the area for decades. After the dairy closed, the site was transformed into a working farm attraction designed to educate and entertain children about life on a farm. Owned by the Craig family, Longdown continues to focus on authentic animal care and interactive learning. The farm features hands-on animal activities throughout the day including kid-friendly animal handling sessions, alpaca and donkey paddocks, small animal enclosures, a duck feeding pond, and even opportunities to feed pigs and chickens. There are also a number of play areas including go-karts, ride-on tractors, a large indoor soft play barn, trampolines, and a Crazy Golf course. Seasonal events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Pumpkin Picking add extra fun throughout the year.
