For today’s easy recipe we are making my absolute favourite dark chocolate brownies! The use of dark cocoa gives these delicious brownies a rich dark chocolate flavour and a fudgy decadent center. Dark chocolate brownies recipe: Brownie Ingredients: 1/2 c all purpose flour 65g 1/3 c dark cocoa powder 40g 1/2 tsp baking powder 2.5g 1/4 tsp salt 1.5g 1/4 c vegetable oil 50g 1/4 c butter (melted and cooled) 55g 1 c granulate white sugar 200g 2 large eggs (room temperature) 100-120g 1 tsp vanilla 4g 1/2 c dark chocolate chips 90g Brownie Directions: Preheat oven to 350F/175C. In a medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Whisk until combined. Set aside. In a large bowl combine oil, melted butter and sugar. Mix until well incorporated, around 2 minutes. Add lightly whisked eggs and vanilla and continue mixing 2-3 minutes until mixture is pale in colour. Add dry mixture and mix until just combined. Do NOT over mix. Add chocolate chips and use a spatula to fold in gently. Lightly grease 8x8 pan and line bottom with a parchment square. Pour brownie mixture into pan. Use a spatula to spread evenly. Shake pan from side to side, quite aggressively. This ensures that they will bake evenly. Bake for 18-22 minutes. You want a toothpick to not quite come out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 30-60 minutes. Cut into 16 squares. Enjoy! These are best served a little bit warm.
