A quick explore of some old farm buildings. There are stalls for dairy cows and pens for other livestock. This was part of the Southbury Training School Complex in Connecticut. The complex housed and helped adults with Intellectual disabilities. I imagine the residents worked on this farm when the complex was at full capacity, and it provided some food and milk as well as helping the residents by giving them work. Some sections of the farm are still in use but the ones I explored today are not. I hope you enjoy this quick explore. I don't know how much longer places like this will be around.
