The topic of building pitcher velo and hitter bat speed keeps coming up, so I made this video showing 4 Landmine exercises you can do to build more rotational power. ⚡️isometric rotational lunge ⚡️rotational lunge to press ⚡️screwdriver ⚡️Staggard stance shoulder press to rotation These are more advanced exercises, I wouldn’t generally use them with a novice athlete, but would be perfect for a player who is experienced in the weight room and has the lunge pattern and overhead press patterns mastered. Additionally, please keep in mind, when building power you have to also build the breaks, otherwise you increase the risk of injury. In other words, the faster you rotationally accelerate the faster you have to be able to stop.
