In the latest updates on farmer’s protests, the Bharat Kisan Union has now moved to the Supreme Court. Kisan have moved an intervention application in the Supreme Court challenging the three Farm Laws. The plea says the acts, if implemented as is, will spell disaster for the farming community by opening a parallel market Meanwhile, Bharat Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait stated that ‘if the government does not listen to farmers, the last resort is "gola-lathi." However, farmer union leaders at the Singhu Border say they will continue to protest peacefully’. Farmers have also called in a nationwide protest on the 14th of December.
