My first unit in Rojava.

March or early April of 2015 and I was in my first unit near Al Howl. I was still very new and didn't know much about what was happening so I will clarify a few points in this video. It was not a Predator drone we heard overhead as they fly to high to be seen or heard. It was most likely an American AC-130 gunship orbiting Al-Howl while attacking ISIS positions. Also, they don't kill the cats and dogs. They actually do take them to other villages where they are set free. I know this because I've actually seen dogs I had originally met in other villages earlier, plus I also helped relocate a few animals. I have mixed feelings of sadness and regret watching these videos now. I wish I could go back to 2015 and make better choices. I would have still left this unit, but I would have never left my second unit who I absolutely loved and miss with all my heart. I wish moving on were easier.
